The fashion world is currently mad about plaid and it’s trending heavily for Fall. Everyone from top fashionistas to fashion models and celebrities are rocking the trend. It’s also one of the top trending patterns used in recent high fashion runway shows. Plaid’s popularity has skyrocketed more recently.

If you’re a fan of plaid and you’re not sure of how you can wear it, look no further. I’ve curated 8 looks using one of my favorite apps, Shop Look, to provide some inspiration. Plaid doesn’t have to be this cliché fashion trend. There are endless possibilities with plaid. Let’s get into it!

Add a plaid coat to neutrals to bring subtle emphasis to the print itself. It’s not basic but it doesn’t overpower your outfit.

Try an unconventional silhouette when selecting plaid pieces and pair with muted prints as seen here. You can wear a skirt like this for years and still be on trend.

You can’t go wrong with a plaid pant and graphic tee. Add a statement belt, earrings, and heels and you have a look.

Thigh high boots and a plaid dress is a must and a great choice for the trend. It’s cute, sexy, and chic.

Do a plaid pencil skirt and add a pop of color to your look.  Bold colors go well with subdued plaid pieces.

A plaid blazer can be styled with just about anything from jeans, trousers, and in this case, a fringe leather skirt.

Instead of wearing the classic button down plaid flannel, opt for a asymmetrical plaid top. It’s a standout piece that brings the trend to another level.

Blazer dresses have been silently a top fashion choice for years now. Do a double breasted plaid dress with boots or heels and you win!

How will you be rocking your plaid this Fall?
