When it Rains, Style Remains.

The seasons are in transition and we will soon be waking up to cloudy skies and pouring rain more frequently. The lack of motivation to wear anything remotely fashionable goes out the window. However, the rain doesn’t have to leave our fashion sense in limbo. You can still rock a fashionable look and be readily prepared for the weather. Let’s take a look at 6 outfits I’ve created that are fashion forward and are sure to keep you dry in unrelenting rain.

Pair your rain boots and raincoat with a sweatshirt and skinnies for a stylish, comfortable look. Rain coats and rain boots are essential pieces to own for rainy days. Investing in one neutral pair of rain boots and one rain coat will make life so much easier.

If you’re on your way to work or a professional event, you can’t go wrong in the rain with a cute trench, wide leg trousers, and heeled boots. Heels are not off limits in the rain! Just avoid suede and open toed heels. Opt for a snake print or patent leather heel instead.

Pairing sneakers with a pullover, water resistant trench coat, and skinny jeans, is another perfect way to to remain fashionably water proof. If you don’t own a pair of rain boots, sneakers with a thicker sole are the obvious choice for slip resistance and style.

Who said you can’t wear a dress in the rain? A midi dress paired with cute rain boots is a bold style statement for rainy weather. Make it fun and add some color to your look!

Rainy weather doesn’t have to end your evening plans, either. You may have plans to attend a concert or party but the weather isn’t exactly permitting. Don’t let that stop you. You can style a cropped hoodie and statement skirt with boots for a chic outfit in any weather

Style doesn’t have to stop for the rain. You can be fashionable on the rainy days, too. Don’t forget your umbrellas!
