It’s finally March and spring newness from fashion powerhouses and fast fashion brands are readily available. Accessories will notably be a top fashion must have for the season. The one style accessory that will be revived this year will be the hat. An array of hat styles from different eras, have been reinterpreted by fashion designers to fit today’s more modernized fashion styles. Statement making hats will be showcased in a number of collections while styles from the past year will roll over to this year for the spring. Here are the top hat trends for Spring 2019.
ASOS DESIGN cotton bucket hat from ASOS.com, $13
Bucket hats have made a major comeback for Spring 2019. During fashion week in New York and Milan, there were a number of style enthusiasts adorning bucket hats with their ensembles. I’ve also seen an increasingly amount of brands include this hat accessory into their collections.

Who What Wear Oversized Floppy Hat from Target.com, $19.99
Eugenia Kim Vicky Visor from ShopBop.com, $145

Visors have of course been known to protect you from the sun. More recently, they’ve become a stylish statement accessory that not only protects but adds stylish dimension to your causal looks.
Glitter Stripe Turban from Topshop.com, $28
Dolce and Gabbana Leopard Print Turban from Net-a-porter.com, $425
Turbans rose to popularity shortly after the likes of June Ambrose, Solange, and Sarah Jessica Parker wore them respectively a few years ago. The turban has now re-emerged in the fashion scene and I predict they will be a must have headwear accessory for spring.
Brown Leopard Print Baseball Cap from river island.com , $28
Baseball hats are here to stay because they are timeless. They’re great for chic lounge wear looks and bad hair days. Pair them with your favorite t-shirt and a pair of jeans!
Take Flight Boater from 12thtribe.com, $52
ASOS Design Natural Straw Flat Boater from ASOS.com, $32
Boater hats have been around for centuries and have made its way onto high fashion runways for top designers’ spring 2019 collections. Many of these hats come in a straw material and/or in neutral tones. I’ve noticed a plethora fashion brands have designed boater hats to be paired with sundresses, swimsuits, and other flowy silhouettes. Boater hats are a great spring/summer vacation headwear accessory.
