How to Take Basic Denim Overalls to the Next Style Level!

Denim overalls have made a comeback this year and are currently a style staple for the spring. While some may view them as a “childish” piece, they can actually be a stylish statement look for casual outings and date nights. There are ways to elevate a denim overall look so that you don’t look like a 5 year old! If you’re thinking of trying the trend, you can certainly pair overalls with chic accessories, cute heels or statement tops. Let me show some simple ways you can take your denim overalls to the next level with a few style tips below!

Do a skinny denim overall to accentuate your curves and pair them with a statement top. Whether it’s a ruffle sleeve or a flounce, a top with a unique design and silhouette will elevate your look and give your denim overall look a mature touch.

Flared pant denim overalls with a fitted bust paired with a solid colored ribbed sleeveless top is a simpler elevated look. A flare style of overalls will elongate your legs and they look great with high heels. Upgrade your look with large statement earrings and a cute bag.

Overall denim dresses are another option for the denim overall trend. Pair denim overall dresses with lace tops or puffy sleeve blouses to dress up or down. You can wear this look with heels for a dressier look or sneakers to keep it casual.

Statement makers, it is possible to not only nail the denim overall trend but also add your own unique touch and still look like an adult. With these style tips, you can slay the denim overall trend like a true fashionista!

Celebrities Who Nailed This Year’s “Camp” Themed Met Gala!

Met Gala’s camp theme left a lot of us confused as to what it actually meant. However, I believe these celebrities brought the camp theme to life for us all. This year’s theme paid homage to Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay, Notes on “Camp.” The Met Gala theme, Camp: Notes on Fashion, allowed party goers to interpret the meaning through their looks with exaggerated pieces that were playful, artful, and even theatrical. It was a chance for the risk takers in Hollywood to shine! This theme gave stylists and stars alike the chance to interpret their own meaning of Camp. Let’s take a look at some stars who embodied the camp theme and certainly made a huge statement on the red carpet.
